As a React Developer within our PoLAR team, you'll spearhead the frontend development and upkeep of our bespoke SaaS platform designed for financial and risk reporting. Your role entails a close partnership with fellow developers, Azure specialists, business analysts, testers, and various teams across our network, diving deep into the Azure ecosystem and its latest offerings.
Your Role Includes:
Collaborating with business analysts to draft comprehensive infrastructure design plans, detailing processes, structures, code, and variables from start to finish.
Crafting the application's frontend code and steering its development forward.
Designing and implementing unit tests.
Building out the application's infrastructure alongside your team.
Debugging and resolving any errors or bugs that arise.
Assisting in analysis and testing efforts.
Recommending technical and business enhancements to team members and product owners.
A Bachelor's degree.
A minimum of 2 years in a relevant field.
Fluent in advanced English.
Expertise in React and Typescript, with a strong grasp of Redux state management, functional components, and hooks.
Experience with NoSQL databases (such as Cosmos DB or MongoDB) or familiarity with SQL syntax will be considered a plus.
A foundational understanding of the Azure platform, including serverless services, VMs, networking, and DevOps pipelines & CI/CD.
Basic knowledge in Node.js, Python, and R languages is beneficial.
A commitment to secure design principles, ideally with experience in regulated sectors (like Insurance or Banking).
The ability to thrive in an agile environment (SCRUM), showcasing motivation, organization, diligence, and a results-driven attitude.
A curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies and methodologies (e.g., Azure image builder, Node.js, etc.).
