Our PoLAR team is on the hunt for a seasoned Fullstack Developer who will play a pivotal role in both the development and upkeep of our proprietary SaaS platform, tailored for financial and risk reporting. This position demands a collaborative spirit as you'll be joining forces with fellow developers, Azure engineers, business analysts, testers, and various teams across our network. Your Role:
Synthesize insights from our business analysts to propose robust designs for our infrastructure, including the overall architecture, processes, code structure, and variables, ensuring a seamless end-to-end flow.
Take charge of the full development lifecycle, crafting and maintaining scalable platforms that encompass both front-end and back-end functionalities.
Collaborate extensively with the BizDevOps team, including analysts, developers, and the product owner, to comprehend requirements and deliver top-notch solutions.
Design and execute unit tests, while contributing to the development of our application infrastructure in collaboration with the team.
Address complex technical challenges, enhance code efficiency, and rectify bugs to optimize system performance.
Contribute to the creation of detailed documentation, support testing efforts, and ensure the maintainability of code.
Guide junior developers, influence architectural decisions, and champion software development best practices.
Mastery of Node.js, Typescript, and React is essential, along with proficiency in REST API and Redux state management.
Demonstrable experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., Cosmos DB or MongoDB) is mandatory; familiarity with SQL is a plus.
A foundational understanding of the Azure platform, including serverless services, VMs, networking, and DevOps pipelines & CI/CD.
A basic grasp of Python & R languages will be advantageous.
Experience in designing secure solutions, preferably within regulated industries such as Insurance or Banking.

A keen learner, open to exploring new technologies and methodologies (like Azure Image Builder).
