Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced Global Application Manager for our Web platform, for a new project for a company based in Prague.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Define the strategic direction for the web platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology roadmaps
  • Lead and motivate a cross-functional team of product owners, technical specialists, and support staff to achieve platform objectives
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement, keeping the platform adaptable to evolving business and technology needs
  • Act as the primary point of contact for business areas, aligning priorities and fostering collaboration across departments
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the web platform, ensuring the integration of modern, scalable, and secure solutions
  • Effectively manage the platform’s budget, resources, and timelines to ensure efficient allocation and execution.
  • Supervise external partners supporting platform operations, development, and support, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met
  • Ensure the platform complies with relevant industry standards, legal regulations, and security protocols
Requirements

What do we expect from you:

  • Direct experience on roles: DevOps Manager / Web Platform Manager
  • According to the Czech labour law, you need to hold a valid work-permit
  • Strong expertise in web architectures, including headful and headless systems, as well as modern web technologies
  • Proficient in leveraging cloud platforms such as AEM, Azure, and AWS as an advantage
  • Extensive experience managing digital platforms and ecosystems within decentralized organizations
  • Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of aligning teams with business goals and motivating them to achieve key outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of building trust, fostering collaboration, and establishing strong relationships
  • Strategic thinking, analytical thinking, able to understand business requirements
