Job description

We are looking for experienced FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER for our client - a manufacturing global company that operates in the technical field. Are you excited to drive the internal organizational change and serve as true finance business partner, ready to help set and direct the evolution paths?

Key responsibilities:

  • Own P&L and Balance Sheet for the business unit as entrepreneur in a start-up – extend “why” with “how to mitigate negative news and secure positive”
  • Pro-actively anticipate market / technology / financial trends in order to lead the race and not be a follower
  • Prepare and provide essential support for the achievement Budget / Plan, Forecast in Sales, Margin and EBIT
  • Being a strategic advisor to the operational / business partners
  • Identify and conduct analysis (“deep dive”) in the specific topics – going to root cause with operations / business and conclude on action plan and tracking of the progress.
  • Drive / Manage Cash Flow metrics and design Working Capital improvement plans with Operations
  • Drive a culture of 'best practice' by leading / participating in various process improvement projects to simplify, streamline, and automate
  • Work with a wide range of key stake holders including the Area Finance Team (Controlling and Accounting) and leadership team (Area Leaders Business and Finance), operational and functional teams, on local, Area, EMEA and HQ levels
Requirements
  • Min. 7 years of professional experience
  • Expertise in MS-Office and SAP
  • HFM (incl SmartView) and Power BI knowledge
  • English – C1 and German - B1/B2
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS – is a plus
  • Focus on solutions and results with a proactive drive and sense of ownership
  • Self-starter able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Daring to challenge and disrupt and high degree of assertiveness
  • Resilience in the change processes and “difficult” phases, flexibility
  • Orientation to detail (high attention to detail), with ability to make a good estimate within short period of time if needed
  • Ability to present the global picture, be concise, to prioritize in order to focus on the main subjects
  • Ability to manage short term tasks as well as mid to long term
  • Clear and effective communication skills
