Job description

Are you interested in the finance field?

Do you have some previous experience in such a field or accounting?

Are you fluent in Czech and English?

If so, this might be the right opportunity for you!

As General Ledger Accountant (Junior), your daily responsibilities will be:

  • The financial ledger maintenance
  • Preparation of balance sheets for reconciliation
  • The inventory of accounts
  • VAT reports
  • Preparing half-year and year closings
  • Drafting of reports and analysis
Requirements
  • 1+ year of work experience in the finance field or accounting
  • Strong command of English & Czech (at least B2+)
  • The user of the MS Office package (specifically Excel)
  • Previous experience with SAP or other ERP system is needed
  • The knowledge of Czech Accounting standards
  • The knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS is an advantage
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Communication skills
