Position: As a GL Accountant you will cover all general ledger activities for our German business.
START ASAP, location in Prague, close to the metro station.

Summary of Responsibilities:
o Lease and Rental Contracts: Prepare and manage documentation for leasing and rental contracts per local GAAP and IFRS.
o Monthly Reporting: Create and analyze monthly reports for specific business areas.
o Audit Liaison: Serve as the main contact for auditors regarding annual financial statements.
o Cost Allocation: Approve and manage cost allocation to accounts and cost centers.
o Commission Booking: Initiate and approve commission bookings or adjustments with operations.
o Cost Reclassification: Manage the reclassification of costs as per guidelines.
o Contract Valuation: Oversee valuation and realization of contract agreements.
o IFRS 16 Compliance: Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 for long-term debt.
Qualification needed:
o Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, finance, or related field.
o Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, GL accounting, auditing, leasing, or renting.
o Proficient in German and intermediate English.
o Experience with accounting in SAP or another ERP tool.
