Job description

Are you an experienced professional in complex accounting?

As the General Ledger Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • for accounting & coordination of taxation - review of local taxes
  • daily communication with external accountants, preparation of reporting package
  • supporting all junior members of the team
  • reporting to Group companies in CESEE countries
  • monthly closing and reporting under IFRS
  • financial statements review, communication with the external accounting companies, audit coordination
  • ad-hoc projects and reports.
Requirements

What you already have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in complex accounting/audit
  • University degree in Accounting/Economics is preferred
  • Strong background in internal controls
  • Fluent English (C1 minimum), other languages as an advantage (Polish, German, Turkish, Bulgarian, etc.)
  • PC literate (MS Office, SAP)
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • an easily approachable type of personality is desired
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Attention to details
  • Experience in an international environment or SSC strongly preferred
  • Czech Institute of Accountants or ACCA finalized or in progress is big advantage
  • (other local accounting standards are an advantage)
