Job description

International pharmaceutical company inventing, develop and distributing original products is opening role of Global Procurement Category Manager.

Who would be responsible for:

  • ensure all category management related activities are strategized at a global level
  • influence local regional and global stakeholders to align business and procurement strategies
  • define & execute sourcing projects to ensure that company optimizes its spend
  • lead and be a point of reference for the (sub)category(ies) in question for countries to ensure optimization of spend in all geographies
  • act as a Global category manager in case of complex negotiations for sites/locations
  • ensure that global contracts meet all business requirements (global and local)
  • act as a role model / SME to colleagues
Requirements

Requirements:

  • min. bachelor degree (Engineering or Medical laboratory technology is advantage)
  • Fluency in English C1 level
  • experience in Capital Equipment procurement (global experience is advantage)
  • experience within the pharmaceutical industry
  • experience in Facilities, Maintenance and Lab Equipment and Services
  • decision making ability to purchase goods or services in alignment with the objectives of the category
  • analytical and negotiation skills
