Job description

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager for a well-known American company.

Multinational work environment, start ASAP.

We are looking for capable candidates with valid work permits for the Czech Republic.

Here are some of your day-to-day duties:

  • Lead sourcing projects, including strategy, supplier negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders at key accounts.
  • Create strategic plans to identify cost-saving opportunities across various industries.
  • Oversee collaboration and performance with third-party providers.
  • Provide market research and financial analysis to clients.
  • Collaborate on market insights from sourcing activities.
  • Align sourcing efforts with corporate goals and growth initiatives.
  • Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, from setup to termination.
  • Mentor the sourcing team on stakeholder management and project execution.
Requirements

What you already have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years in consulting or sourcing/procurement/supply chain management
  • 6+ years in logistics sub-categories, including:
  • Truckload
  • Less-than-Truckload/Groupage
  • Global Ocean
  • Global Air
  • Small Parcel
  • 3PL/Warehousing
  • 4PL
  • Rail
