Job description
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the BIW workshop
  • Ensure shop performance targets (safety, volume, quality) are met during shifts.
  • Coach and support Supervisors and teams to achieve goals.
  • Optimize production system efficiency.
  • Manage real-time priorities and act as a key contact for management.
  • Plan activities, manage staffing, and resolve personnel issues.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance and time management.
  • Encourage problem-solving and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate across departments to improve processes and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Lead lean process efforts to minimize waste and boost efficiency.
Requirements
  • Relocation to Košice region in Slovak Republic
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, on-site management experience is necessary.
  • 10+ years of management in highly automated OEMs or suppliers, body in white experience is a plus.
  • Excellent in Slovak and English listening, speaking, written skills, and presentation
  • Manning and flexible manning systems

  • Ability to lead cross-funcitonal kaizen activities
  • Leadership experience

  • Optimizing work processes by knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
